New Restaurant Nomad to Host Pop-Up at Viceroy this Tuesday
Nomad, a new global fusion restaurant opening in early 2020 in Hillsborough, NC, is hosting a pop-up at Viceroy this Tuesday, November 19 from 6pm to 9pm; 335 Main Street, Durham, North Carolina 27701. The pop-up will offer diners a "sneak peek" of Nomad's menu before the restaurant opens to the public. Guests are invited to visit Viceroy during the pop-up hours to try delicious bites from Nomad and grab a drink from the Viceroy bar.
Coronato Announces Truffled Pizza Feast

After months of renovation to the former ān cuisines space in Cary, NC, kō•än announces an opening date of November 1, 2019. With a focus on humble, tranquil, “food for thought,” kō•än brings a renewed energy and feel to Cary’s dining scene. kō•än’s menu is focused on sharing food that celebrates the unsung heroes of Southeast Asian cuisine. Whiskey Kitchen and Imurj to Host Nash Bash this Sunday
Whiskey Kitchen and Imurj are thrilled to announce the approach of Nash Bash, a block-long, day-long party on Martin St. in downtown Raleigh this Sunday, Oct. 13th from 11am to 9pm. The best part? Nash Bash is free to attend! Proceeds from Nash Bash will benefit the Foundation of Hope and the Piedmont Culinary Guild.
Coronato Announces Special Collaborative Dinner with Roman Food Expert Katie Parla
Katie Parla is traveling to Coronato for a special collaborative pizza party with Chef-Owner Teddy Diggs on Tuesday, October 15th. Parla is a Rome-based food and beverage educator and journalist who came out with a cookbook earlier this year, “Food of the Italian South.”
Chef Teddy Diggs Announces Opening Date for Coronato, New Roman-Style Pizzeria
Chef Teddy Diggs is excited to announce the grand opening date of Coronato, his new Roman-style pizzeria concept. Diggs' new restaurant is slated to open to the public on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 at 5pm. Take away orders will be available beginning Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019. Coronato is a new build located in the South Green shopping center at 101 Two Hills Rd. #140, Carrboro, NC 27510. Diggs' Roman pizzeria is the first of its kind in North Carolina.
The Conservators Center Announces Lions, Tigers and Beer Event 🐯 🍺
Embark on a taste bud safari! In partnership with Tabletop Media Group, the Conservators Center is hosting Lions, Tigers and Beer on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 at 6pm. Tickets are $100 each—or $180 for two—and include six food and beer pairings from local chefs and breweries, as well as a guided walking tour. All proceeds from the event go to the care of the animals at the Conservators Center.
Coronato to Sell Special Gold Chocolate Bars in Collaboration with Videri Chocolate Factory
Chef-Owner Teddy Diggs of Coronato and Co-Founder/Head Chocolate Maker Sam Ratto of Videri Chocolate Factory collaborated to create special gold bars this past Monday, Aug. 5th at Videri in Raleigh, NC. The bars—Videri’s classic dark chocolate variety—contain an edible 24 karat gold leaf, much like that of Willy Wonka’s signature “golden ticket” bars in the beloved film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
Raleigh Night Market to Celebrate 1 Year Anniversary Tonight at City Market
The Raleigh Night Market will celebrate their 1 year anniversary tonight, August 8th, from 5:30pm to 10:30pm at Historic City Market and Market Hall in Raleigh, NC. This event is free for all to attend and includes more than 100 local artisans, food, beverage and entertainment at 215 Wolfe Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.
Chef Drew Smith to Host kō•än Pop-up at Sister Restaurant so•ca
kō•än, opening in Cary this August, plans to host a summer-long pop-up series at sister restaurant so•ca in Cameron Village. The pop-up features unique cocktails and small plates that diners can expect to find on the upcoming kō•än menu. Executive Chef Drew Smith and his talented team plan to launch the kō•än pop-up this Friday, June 28th at so•ca, located at 2130 Clark Ave, Raleigh, NC 27605. The regular menu will still be available at so•ca, along with the added kō•än pop-up items.
