Working for the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services coordinating events for the Sustainable Local Food Advisory Council and serving as a Food Safety Outreach Coordinator led her to become even more passionate about the food industry. She later started a popular food blog and consulting company, Gadabout Food. After working in Raleigh, North Carolina for three years, she spent two years in New York City consulting for Shutterstock, Taste Talks, Northside Festival, Swig and other clients. Kristen decided to return to Raleigh, North Carolina in July 2016 to launch Tabletop Media Group.
Adventurous and passionate, Kristen has traveled over 26 countries to explore the different cultures and food options around the world. In her free time, you can find her relaxing outside with her dog Cheerwine or at one of the many Triangle breweries sipping on a North Carolina beer.

Social Media Manager
Quinn Carlton is a Social Media Manager for Tabletop Media Group. Born and raised in Eastern North Carolina, Quinn has always loved everything made and related to this wonderful state. If you couldn’t tell by her sweet southern accent, Quinn is a true country girl as she was raised in a town that has one main stoplight and is 30 minutes from any movie theater or major chain grocery store (shout out Beulaville, NC).
After majoring in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing and then proudly graduating from North Carolina State University in 2015, she loved Raleigh too much to move back home to Duplin County. Quinn’s passion is cooking and food – it takes up a big portion of her soul. In March of 2016, Quinn and her sister started their food blog, Soul-Full Sisters, where they share food they love including family recipes passed down from generations. Given her love for food as well as her experience in the marketing field, she is truly knowledgeable about effective communication through food and the intricacies of the food industry via several different platforms and the variety of individuals they serve.
Quinn is also a loving dog mom to her and her boyfriend’s Boston Terrier/Jack Russell mix, Packer; is an expert Christmas decorator, and an ice cream connoisseur.
