STIR's GINgerbread Holiday Cocktail

‘Tis the season to get cozy with a festive holiday cocktail! We’re reaching for STIR’s December specialty cocktail, The GINgerbread. A tasty combination of gin, ginger syrup, fresh pomegranate juice, egg white and agave, it is garnished with a sprig of fresh rosemary. With fragrant, spicy notes and just a hint of sweetness, it stands out above many holiday cocktails that strike a more predictably sugary note.

STIR Raleigh's GINgerbread Cocktail

1.5 oz. London Dry Gin

1.0 oz POM Juice
0.5 oz Lemon Juice
0.25 oz Ginger Syrup
0.5 oz Monin Agave

1 Egg White

Add all ingredients to the shaker glass. Add ice to a shaker tin. Wet shake. Strain contents into shaker glass and dump ice. Dry Shake vigorously. Strain into coupe glass and dust with spice. Gently swirl with a bar spoon tip for decorative swirl. Smack rosemary and garnish.
GLASS recommended: Coupe
GARNISH: Pumpkin spice dust & rosemary sprig

Pro tip straight from a STIR bartender: A dry shake of the mixture followed by a wet shake (with ice added) will make the egg whites extra fluffy.

If you need us, we’ll be on STIR’s patio by one of the pits with a GINgerbread in hand. If you decide to give one a try this December, be sure to check out the tasty new additions to their appetizer and dinner menus!
