More than 50 food trucks and beer vendors are taking over Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. Bring a group of friends and sample delicious dishes from some of your favorite trucks!
Durham Murals Bike TourSaturday, August 3rd
Meet at 10am in front of Piedmont Restaurant
Preservation Durham has teamed up with a few local organizations to create a bicycle tour of the historic murals of downtown Durham. The tours are designed for anyone who has a bike! Tours will be available once a month and you should reach out to Preservation Durham to reserve your spot.
Beer, Bourbon & BBQ FestivalFriday, August 2nd (6-10pm) & Saturday, August 3rd (12-6pm)
Price: $49 advance, $55 at the door; $39 designated driver
Who’s ready for a day of beer, bourbon, live music and bbq eating? Your admission includes all-you-care-to-taste sampling of beer and bourbon. Plus, bbq vendors are on-site for tasty samples when you get the munchies!

Meet the Heels

If you and the kiddos are big fans of the Carolina football program, join the Tarheels this Saturday from 3-6pm at the new Football Practice Complex. Meet the Heels is free of charge and there will be free parking available. Starting at 3pm, the kids can enjoy bounce houses, balloon twisting, face painting, concessions, photo opportunities with Rameses and RJ, and much more. The football team and head coach Mack Brown will hold an autograph session from 4:15-6pm inside the Indoor Practice Facility.
