Tabletop Team’s Favorite Thanksgiving Dishes

Happy Thanksgiving from Tabletop Media Group! 🦃 We’re so grateful for every single one of you. ❤️ As this yummy holiday approaches us, we wanted to share our team's favorite Thanksgiving dishes. 🍽

Quinn Bostic - Vice President

Thanksgiving is my very favorite food-filled holiday. My mother-in-law goes all out and will have every counter in her kitchen topped with delicious dishes, making it too hard to choose my favorite. However! If I had to choose one or two, I would choose her chicken-n-pastry paired with my husband’s Grandaddy’s collards. Everything just goes delicious with the turkey, sweetpotatoes, etc. Now, I am starving!

Truthfully, ALL Thanksgiving dishes are my favorite, but if I had to choose just one, I’d go with my Grandma’s Deviled Eggs. I may be biased, but she makes the best deviled eggs that I’ve personally ever tasted… and I’ve tasted A LOT of deviled eggs. I’m not sure what ingredients she includes in them, but I do know that they’re made with lots of love. I can’t wait to eat so many of them this Thanksgiving feast!

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is homemade cranberry sauce! While it isn’t exactly the star of the show, I look forward to it every year. My mother-in-law and husband both love to make it. It’s always bright and festive with plenty of orange zest… don’t ask me whose is better, though!

We have many traditional dishes which is why I love Thanksgiving. I cook the turkey and the mashed potatoes and everyone brings the rest! It all comes together. Last year we did roasted brussels sprouts and they were an amazing addition to the customary dishes. My favorite holiday.

My favorite Thanksgiving dish happens to be the day before. On Wednesday, my mom, aunt, and I prep all of the food for the next day. It is tradition for me to make a charcuterie board for us to enjoy. I love getting creative with the design and am looking forward to this year’s board!

Besides the turkey and all the delicious sides that go with it, I always save room for dessert! Since I have a background in baking, my family votes for a dessert every year. Last year the winner was this creamy scratch-made Cranberry Fudge Swirl Cheesecake. We will see what I whisk up this Thanksgiving!

This one might be a little out of the box but it always hits the spot. My favorite Thanksgiving dish is the day after leftover sandwich! This delicious sandwich is loaded with all the things: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayo. Of course, I add a side of the leftover garlic mashed potatoes and corn bread pudding too. The best food-filled day can not come soon enough!

Joe Zonin - Business Developer

My favorite dish at Thanksgiving is the gravy.  Yes, it’s a dish.  We start out by making turkey stock with the parts of the turkey we don’t roast and lots of root vegetables and herbs.  Then when the turkey is done cooking and is resting, we deglaze the pan drippings with some wine, add a little flour and then pour in the stock.  Reduce it down and you’ve got something special.   The final piece is to get it to the table and for that it has its own special vessel - yes, the gravy boat!  A boat full of gravy, now that’s Thanksgiving.

Amanda Morris - Graphic Designer

My favorite dish at Thanksgiving is my husband’s deep-fried turkey. I’d never had turkey cooked in a deep fryer until a few years ago, but now it’s my favorite. The turkey is moist and more flavorful. If you haven’t had it then you need to give it a try. Really, it’s amazing.

Allie Nelson - Social Media Manager

I love hosting Thanksgiving! It is my favorite holiday. Pretty much any veggie side dish is going to be on my plate. I love incorporating at least one new vegetable dish every year, but two items I always have on the table are green bean casserole and garlic mashed potatoes. It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without them!
