Celebrate #NationalBarbecueDay with Prime Barbecue's Groundbreaking
May 16th is National Barbecue Day, a perfect time to congratulate Prime Barbecue on breaking ground on their new restaurant! On May 7th, a ceremony was held to commemorate the beginning of construction. Christopher Prieto, the owner and head fire maker, is also a champion pitmaster, book author, barbecue judge, teacher and barbecue eating expert.

After years of experience through cooking, teaching and judging, Christopher believes that he has achieved what he considers “barbecue excellence” with his signature style that fuses together elements of Texas, North Carolina and Kansas City flavors.
The restaurant will be located in downtown Knightdale, N.C. across from the amphitheater. Prime Barbecue will include both indoor and outdoor seating along with a unique bar area by the "pit room." There, customers will be able to see and smell the barbecue being prepared.
The estimated date of completion is late fall of 2018, so next National Barbecue day be sure to celebrate at Prime Barbecue!
