Andia's Homemade Ice Cream Hosts Community

Andia's Homemade Ice Cream is excited to host a "Community Celebration Day" on May 20, 2018 from 12pm to 3pm. This special day is owners Andia and George Xouris' way of thanking their patrons for their unwavering support since the shop's opening in July 2017. The event will be held at Andia's Homemade Ice Cream, 10120 Green Level Church Rd., #208, Cary, NC 27519.

The past 10 months have been huge for Andia's Homemade Ice Cream and with the help from their patrons, the new ice cream shop won a Maggy Award from Cary Magazine for "Best New Business" and a Voters' Choice Award from WRAL for "Best Local Ice Cream."

The Community Celebration Day will include a live DJ and free activities for children like face painting and balloon twisting. A raffle wheel will be available with all proceeds benefiting the Polka Dot Mama Melanoma Foundation; each spin is just $1 and every spin includes a prize! Andia's Homemade Ice Cream is also hosting an ice cream eating contest during the Community Day Celebration with limited slots from 12pm to 3pm, and interested participants can sign up for free at the shop. The cherry on top? All offerings at the shop including to-go desserts will be 20% off!

Join in on the fun and connect with Andia's Homemade Ice Cream on Facebook and Instagram. RSVP to the Community Celebration Day by visiting the event's Facebook page

About Andia's Homemade Ice Cream
Founded in 2014 as the Freezing Pointe, Andia and George Xouris re-branded their ice cream catering business in 2016 to Andia's Homemade Ice Cream. With a focus on their Greek background and family, Andia's Homemade Ice Cream currently offers premium quality ice cream and sorbet through their catering operation. This family-owned, ice cream business also opened a permanent retail location in July 2017 at Cary Park Town Center in Cary, NC. Their shop offers a family-friendly atmosphere with a menu featuring 22 flavors of ice cream and sorbet, and a rotating vegan flavor made with a coconut base. Classic flavors like butter pecan and coffee bean are available as well as originals like Baklava, rose, pistachio and malted Twix.
