Driftwood Southern Kitchen Changes Name and Logo

Driftwood Southern Kitchen has been a cornerstone of Lafayette Village, the popular shopping and dining destination off of Falls of Neuse Road, for the past 5 and a half years. As the restaurant has grown and become a part of the blossoming restaurant scene in North Raleigh, so has their desire to expand the menu to items that are not just classified as Southern dishes. The decision to change their name to take out Southern and call themselves “Driftwood Kitchen and Bar” will allow the head chef creative freedom to think outside of the box. For example, every Taco Tuesday Driftwood will be offering three different styles of tacos: blackened chicken, chorizo, and a rotating taco. (complete with margaritas!). They are also increasing their focus on hosting special events and have a dedicated private room for social gatherings such as birthdays, bridal luncheons and anniversary parties.

What has not changed is Driftwood’s dedication to making everything from scratch and showcasing the very best ingredients. Their popular Sunday brunch has been expanded to also include Saturdays and has transitioned to offering a la carte items including their very popular Vanilla Custard Soaked French Toast.

And for all the fried chicken lovers out there, do not fear… their famous fried chicken isn’t going anywhere!
