Village District Announces Holiday Open House
A favorite neighborhood destination for Raleigh shoppers and diners since 1949, Village District announces their Holiday Open House. Venture to their Christmas Village on Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for holiday shopping and festivities. Take professional photos with Santa and grab complimentary hot cocoa. Visit their giving corner, while kids enjoy a Santa letter making station. There will be live seasonal tunes from musicians, chalk artists, and a Weston Farms Pop-Up. Village District invites attendees to enjoy roaming holiday carolers while shopping. This is a free event. Zach’s Toy Chest
Zach’s Toy Chest donates new toys and more to help boost the spirits of pediatric patients ages zero to eighteen years old. A well-stocked toy chest ensures that every patient has a gift for holidays, birthdays, and most importantly, a little something to serve as a reward for their courage in fighting cancer and other critical illnesses. Villagers who make a toy donation or monetary donation will be entered for a chance to win a Village District gift card. Wish lists for age groups are available on their website.
Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue
Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of golden retrievers in need. The organization advocates responsible pet ownership, community education, and protection of all dogs. Villagers will be able to meet festively dressed retriever pups. Those who make donations will be entered for a chance to win a Village District gift card.
