What I'm looking forward to most this holiday season:

I love Christmas, I love giving gifts, and I love baking so this time of year is truly my Super Bowl. I love plotting out my game plan and researching new cookie recipes, painting little gift tags, and putting together cookie boxes for my friends, family, neighbors, baristas, bartenders, the mailman, or honestly anyone who's around when I go into baking mode. Everyone loves cookies. 😉

Carrying on the family traditions that make the holidays magical: Chinese food on Christmas Eve, cruising around town to see lights, breakfast casserole on Christmas morning and spending time with family & friends.

Top 3 Holiday Songs:

What I'm looking forward to most this holiday season:

Sharing the holiday magic with my baby girl on her first Christmas! She loves our Christmas tree and was excited to meet Santa. Our family also has a tradition of exchanging books on Christmas morning and relaxing and reading all day (kind of like Jolabokaflod!). We've gone all out in previous years with stacks and piles of books, and I'm excited for my daughter to participate this year with some festive baby books.

Top 3 Holiday Songs:

Father Christmas by the Kinks, Fairytale of New York by the Pogues, Born on Christmas Day by Brad Paisley

What I'm looking forward to most this holiday season:

I'm looking forward to Warrenton's festivities including an appearance from Saint Nick himself! Fun fact: When he's not busy at the North Pole, Santa is incognito as our town's local pharmacist. 😉December is always extra busy with my son's birthday falling right in the middle, but we're going to have a charcuterie spread at my mom's house in Chapel Hill on Christmas Eve, then spend that night right here at home with our newly-six-year-old boy and motley crew of pets. 🎄 After a Christmas out of state last year, it will be most welcome. ❤️

What I'm looking forward to most this holiday season:

Every year my Grandma makes the most amazing Christmas goodie tray and it's something I always look forward to each and every year! However, Grandma recently told my sister, sister-in-law and me that she's "passing that spatula to us" this year. So we are each responsible for making 1 to 2 goodies each, in addition a few my Grandma will be making (she couldn't fully pass the spatula quite yet it seems 😉). It will be fun to bring all of our goodies together and share with the family!

What I'm looking forward to most this holiday season:

This holiday season, I’m most excited about my brother coming home for Christmas! He lives in Colorado, so we don’t get to see each other often, making this time together extra special. We’re super close, and when we’re together, it’s always a blast—filled with cocktails, sarcasm, and plenty of laughter.

What I'm looking forward to most this holiday season:

This is my son's third Christmas but his first that he is really understanding what's going on! He is so excited for Santa and I can't wait to see his face Christmas morning. I also do a lot of hosting over the holidays and I am the Martha Stewart of my family so am looking forward to having people over and using all of my Christmas platters and dinnerware. 😂 (And making lots of yummy mocktails!)
