Q&A with the Tabletop Social Media Team!
We recently grew our team by two new team members! To celebrate, we thought it would be fun to dedicate an entire blog to our social team, who works super hard to maintain an amazing presence for our clients on social media daily. These women have several accounts they manage and are total rockstars. We wouldn’t be Tabletop without them. Enjoy this fun little Q&A with them, and help us welcome Danielle and Abby to our team!
Lewis - Social Media Manager
What is a random fun fact about yourself?
A random fun fact about me: I have a two and a half year old son named Cyrus. :) If he's awake, he's climbing, running, or wheeling around on his tricycle. More than anything, he loves being outside- something we could all use an extra dose of every day.
What is your favorite social media outlet?
-If I had to choose a favorite social media outlet, it would be Instagram. I love that my feed is a good mix of dear friends and topics that fascinate me, like sashiko embroidery!
What do you like most about social media?
-Some of my favorite people on earth happen to be scattered across the country. What I value most about social media is the role it plays in keeping us connected despite the distance.
Danielle - Social Media Manager
What is a random fun fact about yourself?
-Before my new role as a social media manager, I was a self-taught head baker for ten years. Even though my career has changed, I enjoy baking for others and sharing my love for baking on my Instagram account.
What is your favorite social media outlet?
-Hands down, my favorite social media outlet is Instagram because I love scrolling through travel (seeing places I never knew about or wishing I was there) and food photography, and watching heart-warming animal videos on The Dodo!
What do you like most about social media?
-I love how social media allows us to build relationships with others all around the world. We can share common interests and learn from each other.
Abby - Social Media Intern
What is a fun fact about yourself?
-I've been a dancer my whole life, and my favorite experience was getting to dance for the New Kids On The Block at their concert in Raleigh as part of my time on the NC State Dance Team!
What is your favorite social media outlet?
My favorite social media outlet is Twitter because it is a good mix of personal, funny, and news-related content. It is also the outlet responsible for most "viral" sensations - I think it is so interesting to see how phrases that originate on Twitter spread into our everyday conversation!
What do you like most about social media?
What I like most about social media is the opportunity it gives people all over the world to share their experiences and build communities. My favorite social media trend is definitely the more recent "make instagram casual" trend because it encourages people to be authentic and carefree. :)
