National Oysters On The Half Shell Day with STIR!

It’s #NationalOystersOnTheHalfShellDay, and we’re taking this opportunity to shout out our favorite oysters at STIR! 🦪

One of the things we always enjoy about our Raleigh restaurant client, STIR, is their huge, rotating selection of fresh seafood, and their oysters are no exception. Available raw, steamed and cooked, both oyster connoisseurs and newbies will find plenty to enjoy.

Want to keep it simple? Order their house or specialty oysters with all the trimmings. Be sure to ask their professional shuckers about the latest varieties available! Briny with a sweet finish, you’ll find Dabob Bay Oysters featured at the raw bar this week. They hail from Hood Canal in Washington State. 

Craving cooked oysters, instead? Here are a few of our faves on their menu:

-Char-Broiled Oysters, served with lemon, scampi butter, shallots, red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese

-Fried Oysters Casino, served with bacon, parmesan, green onion, garlic, shallots and butter sauce

-Oysters Rockefeller, served with spinach, shallots, pernod and parmesan cheese

Pearl of Wisdom: STIR has an Oyster Happy Hour every weekday during lunch! From 11am to 4pm, order their house oysters for just $1.50 each, or a dozen for just $18.
