National Noodle Month with The Tabletop Team!

Did you know March is #NationalNoodleMonth? We love any reason to slurp up our favorite bowls of noodles here in the Triangle. We are coming at you with the #TabletopTeam’s favorite noodle dishes! Make sure to check these places out for delicious noods.

Kristen B. Taber - Founder

“One of my favorite places for noodle dishes is Chuan Cafe in Raleigh. I went here for a Yelp Triangle event right before things shut down last year due to COVID-19. I tried a wide variety of items that were all incredible, but let me tell ya - you MUST get yourself an order of the Szechuan Style Cold Noodles! I follow some amazing influencers in the area that are experts in all things noodles like Nancy Thapa and Sujung Shin. They recommended on their Instagram accounts to try this Asian-owned restaurant and it did not disappoint! It's important to support small business owners and it feels good knowing your dollars are going to a locally establishment in the community.”

My favorite noodle dish has to be Singapore Noodles. It's hard to resist anything stir-fried, and I love their delicious curry flavor. Also, maybe it's just me, but I've always thought that thin noodles seem to hold onto sauce really well!

“I love this udon noodle dish from O-Ku in the Raleigh warehouse district. I discovered udon noodle dishes when we lived in Sydney Australia. They are a big favorite with fond memories!!”

“This was a tough one. There are so many noodle dishes that I love in the Triangle, but if I had to narrow it down to one, it would without a doubt be the Chicken Curry Ramen from Noodle Blvd in Cary. I am so sad I don’t have a better picture of it than the one below, but every time I go I dive right in and don’t have time for a photo! I crave this bowl of noodles regularly. Noodle Blvd is also an Asian-owned restaurant which I love supporting.“
