Keep It Cheesy with the Tabletop Team!

Extra cheese, please. The Tabletop Team is keeping it cheesy for #NationalCheeseDay! We want to share all of our favorite cheese-based dishes so you can celebrate this year with cheese-licious goodness from our clients! 🧀

Kristen B. Taber - Founder

“One of my all time favorite cheesy dishes is the Scallop & Shrimp White Cheddar Mac & Cheese at STIR in Raleigh’s North Hills. I’m a huge seafood lover and the scallops are seared perfectly and served with juicy shrimp on top of cavatappi pasta with asparagus and white truffle oil, and of course, a creamy white cheddar cheese sauce. It’s my go-to when I want to indulge. I ordered this for takeout, with every intention to eat at home, and ended up sitting in the North Hills parking lot devouring almost the whole entree!”

Quinn Bostic - Vice President

“I recently tried an olive and tomato pizzette from Sassool and it was the most deliciously cheesy bite! Made from their homemade pita and baked in their stone oven, it comes out super fresh. Crispy edges and the perfect amount of cheese and toppings. I will certainly be ordering this again!”

Lewis Foreman - Social Media Director

“I have more favorite cheese dishes than I can count, but a standout for me is Tonbo Ramen’s Fried Ram’n Cheese on a Stick. It’s so fun to eat and combines flavorful sharp cheddar + noodles with the kick of roasted shishito peppers. Chef Alex’s tasty creation only comes around once a year to celebrate the NC State Fair. If cravings strike in the meantime, their Ram’n Cheese Bites always hit the spot!”

Brooke Parsons - Social Media and Public Relations Manager

“There is nothing I love more than a plate of cheese fries. The Latin Effect’s Carne Asada Fries are served to perfection and satisfy all my cheese cravings! This large plate of french fries is topped with carne asada, guacamole, sour cream, pico and for the finishing touch, covered with delicious Mexican and Parmesan cheese - a taste that truly melts in the mouth!”

Claire Jolley - Social Media Manager

Lou Reda’s Lobster Mac n’ Cheese is definitely a cheese-lover’s dream! As if all of the cheese isn’t enough, it is baked to perfection with chunks of decadent lobster meat. Their gemelli pasta is coated in a bechamel sauce, enhanced with truffle, stuffed with lobster, and coated in a cheesy crust. I mean, how much better could it get?”

Danielle Thomas - Social Media Manager

“Just when you thought fries couldn't get more delicious...behold a big bowl of extra cheesy fries! 41Hundred’s hand-cut fries smothered with melted pimento cheese and topped with applewood smoked bacon and scallions will have you cheesin’ from ear to ear. The texture between the crispy bacon bits and smooth pimento cheese is the perfect combination.”

Joe Zonin - Business Developer

“The cheese board at Tap@1918 is perfectly cheesy. A combination of three different cheeses, it includes a soft cheese (Quark), a semi-hard (Montgomery Cheddar) and a hard cheese (L’amuse Gouda). All are outstanding (although the Gouda is my favorite) and the accompanying sides of honey, cornichons and peppadews fit right in.

As Homer Simpson once said, “Solamente queso tiene más queso” (Only cheese has more cheese).”

“Zach and I love Ram’n cheese bites from Tonbo Ramen. They are so crispy and delicious that you don’t want to share them. So next time you go to Tonbo, order these and thank me later. Simply irresistible!”

Chana Lynn - Web Design Consultant

“Give me all the ricotta toast with honey and black pepper! This amazing bite from Cheeni paired with a cup of Indian filter coffee is the perfect afternoon treat! Preeti creates the most amazing flavors. Check out her new location in North Raleigh!”
