Chapel Hill, North Carolina (February 3, 2020) - Il Palio at the Siena Hotel has announced today that Annabel Butler will be starting as their new Restaurant Manager. Moving from Durham to Chapel Hill, Butler is looking forward to combining her experience in the beverage industry with the delicious cuisine of Executive Chef Adam Rose.

In addition to her love of Italian cuisine, Butler has a respectable wine background. After being in winery sales and serving as an assistant manager for a wine bar, Butler became a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, and passed her most recent exam in July of 2019. Being a winner of Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence, Il Palio is the perfect "pairing" for Butler.

Butler states, "Il Palio is known for its exceptional Italian culinary program, gorgeous restaurant, and nerdy wine list. I am so humbled to be joining the team."

Diners are encouraged to request Annabel during their experience at Il Palio; she will be sure to create the perfect wine and food pairings while welcoming you with the warm hospitality that Il Palio is known for.
