Andia's Homemade Ice Cream Participates in the "I Pledge for Ice Cream" Project this National Ice Cream Month
It's National Ice Cream Month, and Andia's Homemade Ice Cream is excited to participate in the national "I Pledge for Ice Cream" Project that will run every Sunday from 12pm to 2pm for the remainder of July 2018. During these set hours, any child 12 years of age or under who recites the Pledge of Allegiance will be rewarded with a free scoop of ice cream. This special project is a way for children to practice their patriotism during the most patriotic month. The month-long promotion will be held at Andia's Homemade Ice Cream at 10120 Green Level Church Rd., #208, Cary, NC 27519.
After the successful Community Celebration Day, owners Andia and George Xouris felt the"I Pledge for Ice Cream" Project was the perfect way to kick-start the summer. More than one hundred ice cream shops are participating nationwide for the month of July. Bring the family to Andia's to support patriotism and ice cream, of course!
Ice cream entrepreneur and Hollywood movie producer, Stratton Leopold and his wife Mary, launched the "I Pledge for Ice Cream" Project in Savannah, GA on July 1, 2010 to underscore the importance of teaching patriotism to young children. This simple yet effective project has been wildly successful, spreading all over the United States with 36 states and over 125 shops participating!
Patrons are encouraged to post photos and videos to their social media pages using #ipledgeforicecream and #andiasicecream throughout the month. Connect with Andia's Homemade Ice Cream on Facebook and Instagram.
