Whiskey Kitchen Announces Upcoming Three-Part Cocktail Series Featuring a Classic, the Old Fashioned
Whiskey Kitchen will host a special cocktail series this spring, offering guests the chance to learn, create, and enjoy the timeless Old Fashioned cocktail, featuring Heaven Hill Bottled in Bond.
Raleigh, NC - February 14, 2024 - Beloved Downtown Raleigh bar and Southern kitchen, Whiskey Kitchen, is excited to announce another three-part cocktail series centered around a classic. This series invites cocktail enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the art of crafting the Old Fashioned in an engaging, hands-on setting. Guests will have the opportunity to learn Whiskey Kitchen’s bartending techniques while making their own custom versions of the bourbon-based cocktail.
The first two events in the series will be complimentary, giving guests a taste of Whiskey Kitchen’s expertise in a relaxed atmosphere. The final event will be a ticketed, in-depth class for those looking to take their skills to the next level.
The How-To Cocktail Series Schedule
Part 1: How to Make an Old Fashioned – February 18, 2025, runs from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
The first session is free to attend. Participants will create their own Old Fashioned using Heaven Hill Bottled in Bond while learning Whiskey Kitchen’s special techniques for achieving the perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. Guests can drop by anytime between 6-9 pm for a hands-on cocktail experience.
Part 2: Mastering the Old Fashioned – March 18, 2025, runs from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
The second session, also free, allows attendees to once again work with Heaven Hill Bottled in Bond as they refine their Old Fashioned skills. Whiskey Kitchen’s bartenders will offer expert tips and insights into customizing the drink to individual preferences. Guests can drop by anytime between 6-9 pm to create their own cocktail.
Part 3: Old Fashioned Cocktail Class – April 15, 2025, 6:00pm
The final session is a ticketed, in-depth class designed for cocktail enthusiasts looking to dive deeper into the Old Fashioned’s history, flavor profile, and advanced preparation techniques. Led by Whiskey Kitchen’s expert bartenders, attendees will enjoy small plates, a detailed lesson, and three custom cocktails. Participants will also leave with their own cocktail tool kit. Tickets are $50 for one and $90 for two, available through Whiskey Kitchen’s website.
