Whiskey Kitchen Announces Second Annual Ardbeg Wee Beastie Sauce Boss Competition

Well-known neighborhood bar and Southern kitchen, Whiskey Kitchen, announces their second annual Ardbeg Wee Beastie Sauce Boss Competition will be held on October 18, 2023, from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Whiskey Kitchen is excited to partner with Ardbeg for this free, fun, and collaborative event on their patio in Downtown Raleigh. Several members of Whiskey Kitchen's staff will participate. Each participant's sauce must include Ardbeg Wee Beastie Single Malt Whisky as an ingredient. These BBQ sauces will be paired with Whiskey Kitchen’s smoked pulled pork served from Ardbeg’s smoker. Ardbeg will have their team on-site to answer questions, hand out swag, and host giveaways. Whiskey Kitchen is located at 201 West Martin Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Contest Guidelines:

Each of the competing sauces will be assigned a color and served in a corresponding colored cupcake liner. Attendees will sample each participants’ sauce on Whiskey Kitchen’s pulled pork. Before sampling, attendees will be given two tickets. One ticket will be used to vote for their favorite sauce and the other is redeemable for a pour of Ardbeg or one of the two specialty Ardbeg Wee Beastie cocktails Whiskey Kitchen will be serving that evening. Two competing participants will be named winners of the Ardbeg Wee Beastie Sauce Boss Competition, one from popular votes by the public and the other will be chosen by an expert judge.

Whiskey Kitchen welcomes attendees to join them for this free event. Tickets are not required to partake in this competition and general restaurant service will still be available.
