Whiskey Kitchen Announces Cocktail “Classes”, How To: The Cocktail Series
Well-known neighborhood bar and southern kitchen, Whiskey Kitchen, announces How To: The Cocktail Series. For this new three-part cocktail series, guests are able to create their own Old Fashioned, with the help of Whiskey Kitchen’s bartenders. The restaurant invites cocktail enthusiasts to relax and learn in a fun atmosphere. For each event, attendees will have the opportunity to customize their drink with different bar selections. How To: The Cocktail Series will take place at Whiskey Kitchen located at 201 West Martin Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.
How To: The Cocktail Series Schedule
Part 1: The Old Fashioned - August 22, 2023, runs from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m
The first session will be free for attendees. Whiskey Kitchen is partnering with Elijah Craig this evening, using their bourbon to make the Old Fashioneds. Guests will choose between simple syrup or demerara syrup for their cocktail creations, while learning Whiskey Kitchen’s special techniques for the perfect sip.
Part 2 - September 19, 2023, runs from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m
The second session will be free for attendees. Attendees will choose between Elijah Craig bourbon or rye for their Old Fashioned cocktail creation. Whiskey Kitchen’s bartenders will discuss flavor notes and different Old Fashioned techniques.
Part 3 - October 24, 2023, starting at 6:00pm
The third and final session will be a paid and private event. Attendees will receive an in depth lesson on the Old Fashioned cocktail and a Q&A with Whiskey Kitchen Master of Spirits, Johnny Berry, and Elijah Craig representative, Frank Price. Small plates, along with three cocktails will be provided to ticket holders. Attendees will also leave the event with their own cocktail tool kit. Tickets are priced at $50 for one and $90 for two. Tickets can be purchased through Whiskey Kitchen’s website.
