What to EAT at Raleigh Fashion Fest!

Everyone knows that the best cardio is a night full of shopping! After spending the evening with your friends finding all the right pieces for your wardrobe, a great way (and the only way in our opinion 😉) to refuel is with delicious bites and sips from some of your favorite Triangle restaurants!

We are beyond thrilled for Raleigh Fashion Fest coming soon to downtown Raleigh’s City Market! Celebrating fashion and food in both Raleigh and across North Carolina, the festival brings together more than 40 locally owned boutiques and vendors. Attendees can pursue and purchase a variety of clothing, shoes, jewelry, gifts, hair and beauty products and more for the ultimate shopping experience.

The night features a collaborative boutique runway fashion show put on by Models For Charity that will showcase inspiring fall fashion looks from participating boutiques and vendors

Now, let's talk food. With 8 delicious restaurants participating, you will not leave hungry! Here’s the yummy line-up:

Carroll's Kitchen: Carroll’s will be serving their delicious Kolaches! In the flavors: Everything Bagel, Spinach & Feta, Peach Crisp, and Cream Cheese Crumble.

Papa Shogun: Snack on Papa Shogun’s Togarashi Kombu Popcorn & Somen & Melon (somen noodles, melon dashi, ume vinaigrette, cucumbers, fried capers). 

Tastefully Served: Stop by Tastefully Served for their Vietnamese Meatballs with Vegetable and Rice Noodle Salad and Soy-Hoisin Glaze.

Tonbo Ramen: Slurp up goodness with Tonbo’s small bowls of ramen with Kurobuta Pork Belly and Pork & Shrimp dumplings in a Tonkotsu Pork Bone Broth topped with garnish vegetables. Also, weather permitting, a sample of their Black Sesame ice-cream.

Spanglish: Spanglish will have so much deliciousness! Try their rice bowls with Ropa Vieja, with a corn salsa and pickled onion garnish. They will also have a rice bowl with Jackfruit, with a corn salsa and pickled onion garnish.

Calavera: So many delicious flavors coming from Calavera! Elote-corn, mayonesa, cotija cheese, chili seasoning, and cilantro. Mini Al Pastor tacos: Al Pastor, pineapple, and cilantro. And… churros with Mexican Chocolate!

Oak City Meatball: Talk about bite-sized heaven! Oak City Meatball will have mini meatballs: chorizo, traditional beef and beyond (vegan) with Chimichurri, tomato sauce, and parmesan cream. You can also get a side of their mac & cheese!

Captain Cookie & The Milkman: Don’t ever forget dessert! Captain Cookie & The Milkman will have an assortment of their made-from-scratch cookies. Flavors include chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, double chocolate, oatmeal raisin, ginger molasses and peanut butter.
