State of Confusion Launches New Menu in Charlotte, Featuring Bold Cocktails and Exciting New Bites

CHARLOTTE, NC – March 27, 2025 - Just in time for warmer weather, State of Confusion is rolling out a new menu featuring refreshing craft and frozen cocktails along with fun shareable dishes designed for patio and rooftop season. Located in Charlotte’s vibrant LoSo district, State of Confusion is known for its scratch-made, globally inspired flavors—and this latest menu release is no exception.

The biggest stars of the season? The new cocktail lineup, featuring refreshing, tropical flavors perfect for sipping in the sun.

“These new drinks are all about embracing the energy of patio season,” said Johan Carcamo, General Manager at State of Confusion. “We’re bringing the guests a unique offering by creating authentic cocktails with a unique creative  twist, like the Oaxacan Old Fashioned made with Tequila Don Gato and the Frozen Mango Pain Killer. These drinks are  refreshing, and perfect for enjoying outside with friends.”

Beyond the drinks, the new food menu introduces inventive, shareable bites, like the new Bologna sliders featuring State of Confusions house made bologna and a new wood fired steak called the Confusion Matambra made on the Argentine Parrilla.

State of Confusion is excited to be partnering with the Don Gato brand featured in our new Old Fashioned.  Tequila Don Gato’s Reposado is a new award-winning brand based on a famed luchador from the actor Danny McBride and his friends from NC School of the Arts which includes Charlotte resident and local musician/filmmaker Chris Walldorf. Don Gato has received multiple international gold medals and was recently named one of the top five new tequilas in the world by Bottle Raiders.
