National Coffee Day with The Tabletop Team!

There’s nothing like the smell of coffee in the morning (or anytime) to just really get you going. Whether it be served in a coffee cup, added to a delicious ice cream, or even the main ingredient in a famous Italian dessert, the #TabletopTeam loves all things coffee. Check out our team favorites below: Coffee Edition.

Kristen - Founder

“My favorite coffee item would have to be Chilly Chicken Creamery's "Dripster" ice cream flavor. Their ice cream chef uses coffee from Drip Coffee + Market, a locally owned shop that's just a block down the street. I love pairing this flavor with the salted caramel in one of the homemade waffle cones. Yum!“

“Being born and raised in Colombia, coffee has been an important part of my life. As a kid around the age of seven, I used to have it for breakfast or sometimes snack bread with “cafe con leche” (coffee with milk) :) Now I drink my coffee with no milk and no sugar. My fav is Juan Valdez coffee, a Colombian brand that I believe you can find their products in DC and NY. I also like a coffee hard candy from Colombina called Coffee Delight.“

“The coffee treat I'm always craving is Drip Coffee + Market's Vanilla Lavender Iced Coffee. I heard about the unusual flavor combo soon after they opened last year and was intrigued! The flavor is unexpected and delicious! It has been my go-to order ever since..“

“I tend to be a STRONG cup of coffee lover in my everyday life, however, I love to try different things when I get the chance. Stopping by the Packhouse Coffee hut in Youngsville for a drive-through cup of their Honey Bee Latte (made with local honey) tends to be my go-to when I am craving something on the sweeter side.“

Quinn - Marketing Account Manager'

“I just recently started drinking coffee, but I have always LOVED coffee flavored desserts. One of my favorites is Coronato’s Tiramisu or as Chef Teddy likes to call it ‘Teddy-misu.’ It is a different take on the classic, but incorporates Chef Teddy’s ‘coffee dirt‘ at the bottom. It’s texturally perfect and super creamy. The only person who loves it more than me is my husband, he talks about it all of the time.“

“I love a rare treat to stay at the Sanderling in Duck NC, and now with the off season and no crowds, a large drip coffee and a walk on the beach is my therapy this week!“
