Holiday Charcuterie Boards:

Grazin’ Gals’ holiday charcuterie boards come in sizes small, medium and large and can feed a small crowd of 6 or a large crowd up to 20 as an appetizer. The boards include an assortment of cheeses and meats, crackers, nuts, dried fruit, candied oranges, fresh fruit, and Peggy Roses’ pepper jelly.

Orders can be placed through Grazin’ Gals’ website.

Tips for making your own Charcuterie Board from Grazin’ Gals:

Try these tips to create the perfect charcuterie board at home:

  1. Cheese: Add variety to your board. Include a hard cheese, semi-soft cheese, soft cheese like a brie, and a cheese spread. Know your crowd and keep “stinky” cheeses to a minimum unless you have blue cheese and goat cheese lovers!

  2. Meat: Grab a variety of meat — some of our favorites include: chianti salami, prosciutto, hot capicola and sopressata. Use some thinly sliced meats and stick salamis to slice, don’t forget to add some spicy flavors.

  3. Crackers: Mix your crackers up, keeping the flavors on the plain side so that you don’t take away from the flavor of your meats and cheeses. Add some sliced bread like a baguette for something more filling.

  4. Olives: Go for all pitted or unpitted but don’t mix! It’s a charcuterie board making rule. If you hate olives, add some cornichons or other types of pickled veggies like green beans, okra, or bread and butter pickles.

  5. Jams & Jellies: Fruit jams and pepper jellies are great toppings for your cheese and meats. If you don’t have jam or jelly, add some honey or honeycomb to your platter.

About Grazin’ Gals

When the Covid pandemic hit in 2020, childhood friends Lauryn Colatuno-Stroud and Erin Riddick found themselves in the unique position to launch their own business.

Erin and Lauryn were not new to entrepreneurship (Erin, owner of Peak City Hair in Apex and Lauryn, co-founder and owner of the Raleigh Night Market LLC), they both were small business owners already; however, both of their businesses were affected by the temporary shut down due to the Coronavirus. It all started with an Instagram post, a lot of amazing friends, and referrals to get the business up and going.

Self-described foodies, Erin & Lauryn both fancy themselves as great home chefs and enjoy spending time dining out at local restaurants. Missing eating out during the pandemic, they looked for more creative takeout options and ways to entertain small groups at home. A Pinterest obsession led to the discovery of large snack boards and sparked the idea for Grazin’ Gals. Grazin’ Gals celebrated their one year anniversary in July 2021 and are looking forward to many more years and adventures ahead as business continues to grow.

Grazin’ Gals’ menu offers an array of charcuterie boxes and boards in all sizes for all types of clients and occasions, from wedding platters and grazing tables to corporate lunches, picnics and gifts. Other menu items include: crudité platters, mini pickled vegetable plates, bread boxes and macarons.

Grazin’ Gals has partnered with many local businesses in the area including; AG Picnics, Mordecai Beverage Co, The Wine Feed, Bond Brothers Brewery, Crafts Made By You, Joy Worthy Co., Aillea Beauty, Satori Meals, Cheeni, Jolly Good Jams, Elevated Chocolates, I do Cakes, Under the Oak Café, Cakes by Chelsea, Ky’s Kandles, Asali, Peggy Rose Jellies, NC Cookie Momster, Sweet Peak NC, Designed for Joy, Hank E Panky, Cloer Family Winery, Apex Board and Brush, Little Blue Macaron and more!
