First Day of Fall with The Tabletop Team!
Happy Fall, y’all! It’s officially the season of pumpkins, changing leaves, sweaters, and hot, comforting beverages. The Tabletop team is more than ready so we thought we’d share our favorite things about fall with all of you. Grab that PSL and enjoy reading!

“My absolute favorite thing to do during the fall is hiking - specifically in the mountains! This photo is from last fall when Zayne and I went hiking in the Smoky Mountains; the colors were STUNNING. I'm definitely a big leaf peeper! We have a trip planned for mid-October this year and I'm just counting down the days.“

“My favorite thing about Fall is the leaves turning color. Driving down an interstate you have travelled all summer takes on a whole new look in the fall. The kaleidoscope of colors is really superb. I also love the science behind the colors. It is amazing to think all those colors have been there all summer but hidden behind the green of chlorophyll. Once the chlorophyll stops being produced by the tree, it's like pulling back a curtain to see what was there the whole time. Near me, the poplar trees are usually the first top change, with their big, loping leaves turning into a brilliant orange/yellow. Attached is a shot of a few poplar leaves that got things started early!“

“I love pretty much everything about fall - it’s my favorite season! I decorate my house in late August I get so excited. If I had to narrow it down to one thing, I would have to pick visiting the Farmer’s Market with my husband, Daniel. I love walking around with him and finding our favorite pumpkins, gourds, and mums. We come back and decorate our porch with our finds.“
