Coronato Announces Upcoming Pop-Up at Botanist and Barrel

The "Pizza King" is back at it again! Chef-owner Teddy Diggs of Coronato plans to host a final pop-up event before the grand opening of his new Roman-style pizzeria this summer. The final pop-up is slated for Friday, July 12th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Botanist and Barrel in Cedar Grove, N.C. 

Chef Diggs will be collaborating with Deric McGuffey, former pastry chef of Il Palio and current partner in Botanist and Barrel. The pizza pop-up will be at Botanist and Barrel's farm, which is located at 105 Persimmon Hill Lane, Cedar Grove, N.C., 27231. Expect innovative Roman pizzas and a Coronato themed dessert by Chef Diggs along with refreshing craft ciders by Deric McGuffey.

Tickets for seatings at 5:30pm, 6:30pm and 7:30pm are available on Botanist and Barrel's website for $5 per person, and only 36 pizzas will be fired up during this event. Tickets include a glass of cider and food is available on site via cash only. Guests are encouraged to come early to pick blueberries at the farm and stay late for pizza and cider.
