Rocky Top Catering Announces the Seventh Annual Cooking for the Kids

This cooking competition benefiting Overflowing Hands and King’s Ridge will bring together eight of the Triangle’s premier chefs.

Raleigh, NC - January 29, 2025 - Rocky Top Catering announces the seventh annual Cooking for the Kids competition. Bringing together eight of the Triangle’s premier chefs, all proceeds will benefit Overflowing Hands and King’s Ridge. Overflowing Hands is a volunteer-led 501c3 organization serving the most vulnerable children in our neighborhoods, across the United States, and around the world. King’s Ridge is a 100-unit community for families and individuals moving out of homelessness. Cooking for the Kids takes place at Millbrook Manor, located at 1705 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, N.C.

Each extraordinary evening of Cooking for the Kids brings together two talented chefs, six delectable courses, and food lovers. A cash bar featuring beer, wine, and cocktails will be available for guests. Competing chefs are required to prepare an appetizer, main course, and dessert each evening using secret ingredients. Guests and culinary judges will vote to decide which chef advances into the next round.

Tickets for the finale are sold at $150.00.

A silent auction will run throughout the competition, offering an array of exclusive packages for bidding. Chef packages will be up for auction on the night each chef competes in Round One. Additional packages will remain available for bidding throughout the event, with final winners announced at the grand finale.
