Working Landscapes and Warren County Cooperative Extension are hosting a Wholesale Readiness Training on March 22nd, April 5th, and May 3rd! The first of these three trainings will focus on on-farm food safety, local food systems, and a discussion with a GAP auditor about what regulators look for during inspections. We will also take a tour of the Working Landscapes Produce Center in Warrenton to teach farmers about the role the Working Landscapes plays in local food systems development.
Warren County farmers who complete this wholesale readiness training will also be eligible to apply for a limited number of grants to either pay for a GAP certification or to make on-farm investments. The trainings will last from 6:00 - 8:00 each night and dinner will be provided. To sign up for the the Wholesale Readiness Training, please click on the link below!
