Social Media Manager

Tabletop Media Group is seeking a Social Media Manager to create engaging social content as well as manage clients' social media platforms. This position is salaried and ideal for those looking to further their career in social media.

Responsibilities:
-Craft unique and engaging content for social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn and Facebook.
-Set schedules for posts that are appealing to the target clientele (keeping in mind holidays, festivals, special events and more).
-Conduct routine research to understand the target clientele, then engage with those social influencers on social media.
-Assist with the on-going development of the company's overall social media.
-Complete other duties as assigned by Tabletop Media Group.
-Attend client events to conduct live social media.

Qualifications and Requirements:
-Personally and/or professionally active on major platforms in the social media space (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
-Must have own smart phone and laptop for work.
-Proficient in Google Drive.
-Have outstanding writing skills and compose compelling messages.
-Must be willing to work in an online environment, not an office.
-Must attend client events (sometimes in the evenings) when needed.
-Must attend weekly co-working sessions in the Triangle, N.C. area.

Required experience:
-1 to 2 years of social media experience
-College degree preferred

Public Relations and Communications Assistant

Tabletop Media Group is seeking a Public Relations and Communications Assistant to manage social media accounts as well as manage client-media relations. Half of daily duties will be spent on social media projects, and the remaining half on Public Relations projects.

Responsibilities:
-Manage and execute projects as assigned by the Public Relations Manager.
-Work with the Public Relations Manager and key accounts to integrate Public Relations campaigns with customer promotions.
-Building relationships with customers and communicating promotional services.
-Work with the Public Relations Manager to develop and refine measurement strategies for Public Relations campaigns.
-Develop and maintain relationships with clients and media contacts.
-Keep accurate and timely record of campaign attendance and traffic.
-Build and update media lists.
-Craft unique and engaging content for social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn and Facebook.

-Outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written.

-Must attend weekly co-working sessions in the Triangle, N.C. area.
-Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.

-Superb organizational and tracking skills with great attention to detail.
-Adaptable, dependable and responsible.
-Excellent understanding of public relations, communications, and marketing concepts.

Required experience:
-1 year of Public Relations experience
-1 year of Social Media experience
